Opening speech day

08.00 p.m. "Festeros" parade accompanied by music bands & the Colla de Xirimiters (pipe & drum) group.

Mass

09.15 p.m. Fiestas Opening speech  in the Parochial Church, by Mrs. Maruja Cervera Bañuls.

Following, Benissa hymn singing by the Sociedad Lírica y Musical de Benissa & the Coral Benissenca, choir conducted by Mr. Josep Cano Gracià.

It will be followed  by fireworks by Vicent Caballer Pyrotechnics.

11.30 p.m. Live music by  the Ying & Yang band in Paseo Dolors Piera (Main square).

Thursday, 28th April

10.00 p.m. Visit to the decorated streets by the "Festeros" street decoration contest responsible.

Friday, 29th April 

Fiesta Queens coronation day

09.00 pm. "Festeros" parade accompanied by the music bands & the Colla de Xirimiters Group.

10.00 p.m. Gathering of "festeros", authorities and Fiesta Queens of neighboring towns at the Portal square (Town Hall).

10.30 p.m. Coronation Ceremony of the Queens 2011: Infant Queen 2011, Idoya Pineda Botella & the Queen 2011, Verónica Reus Martí, in the paseo Dolors Piera (main square).

The ceremony will be followed by the Orquestra Montecarlo Band,  in the Rei Jaume I square.

Saturday, 30th April

Floral offering day

8.30 a.m. Liturgical ceremony in honor of our patron saint, the Puríssima Xiqueta.

01.00 p.m. "Entrada de la murta" (Myrtle parade) traditional parade with .with the collaboration bell ringing and the music of the Sociedad Lírica y Musical de Benissa band and  the Colla de xirimiters band. With the collaboration of the Asociación de Caballistas i Carreters de Benissa (Horses Club)

02.00 p.m..  1st  child Globotada (Balloon Party). Entertainment for children of all ages in which it will explode more than 6.000 balloons at the paseo Dolors Piera (main square).

06.30 p.m. Gathering  of participants of the floral offering at the Convent square, to start the parade to the Parish Church.

07.00 p.m. Evening Mass & bell ringing.

07.30 p.m. Floral Offering to the "Puríssima Xiqueta" Virgin Mary and the giving of medals to the members of the 2011 Fiesta Committee.

11.00 p.m. Live music by  the "Orquestra Código" band in the Social Center "Bernia" square.

0.30 a.m. Firework display  by Vicent Caballer Pyrotechnics.

1.00 a.m. Live music by the "Orquestra Vértigo" band. Followed by the "Discomóvil Impacto" group (Disco music).

Sunday, 1st may

Puríssima Xiqueta's day

8.00 a.m. The day starts with the ringing of bells, bands parade and fireworks.

8.30 a.m. Holy Mass.

10.00 a.m. "Festeros" parade with bands and the "Colla de Xirimiters" Group. 

11.30 a.m. Holy Mass and Sermon in honor of Benissa's Patrones, the "Puríssima Xiqueta". The "Coral Benissenca", choir conducted by Javier Santacreu, will be singing  the "Misa brevis" by Charles Gounod, accompanied by the organist Josep Ortolà i Font. After the Mass will be visit the residence of San Joaquín & Santa Ana.

02.00 p.m. "Mascletà" (noisy firework display) by Vicent Caballer Pyrotechnics, in the paseo Dolors Piera (in the main square).

07.00 p.m. Evening Mass with the bringing down of the image of the "Puríssima Xiqueta", accompanied by the organist Pepe Ciudad. Following, Procesión in honor of the "Puríssima Xiqueta". At the end there will be an incredible Fireworks display by Vicent Caballer Pyrothecnics.

1.00 p.m. Expected performance of the famous artist El Arrebato. At the end, will continue with the "Orquestra Crash" band.

Monday, 2nd May

"Riberers" day

8.00 a.m. The day starts with the ringing of bells, bands and "festeros" parade and fireworks.

8.30 a.m. Holy mass.

10.00 a.m. "Festeros" parade, accompanied by bands and the "Colla de Xirimiters" band. 

11.00 a.m. "Festeros" gathering in the Portal square (Town Hall).

11.30 a.m. Holy Mass and  Sermon in honor of Benissa's Patrones, sung by the "Coral Benissenca" choir and conducted by Javier Santacreu.

01.30 p.m. Floral offering to the "Riberero" monument. Riberero's Memorial and speech  by Álvaro Pérez Arlandis.

02.00 p.m. "Mascletà" (noisy firework display) by Vicent Caballer Pyrotechnics.

06.30 p.m. Parade of floats, accompanied by the music of the bands and the "colla de Xirimiters"

07.30 p.m. Great Infantile spectacle  "La festa del rei", by the Escuraplats company.

Followed by Awards of the streets and floats.

08.30 p.m. Evening Mass.

0.00 a.m. Traditional Song in honor of the "Puríssima Xiqueta" at the house where Joan Vives lived in the Puríssima street. Kilometric fireworks.

0.30 a.m. Fireworks display let off  by Vicent Caballer Pyrotechnics.

2.00 a.m. Delivery of the Mayor's wand to the "Single Mayor", Mr. Joan Bolufer Vives. Continue with the Salseta del Poble Sec group, followed by the Orquestra La Tribu group.

9.00 a.m. Wake up by women, accompanied by bands.

12.00 p.m. Fifth FESTIVAL Pere Bigot, in the paseo Dolors Piera (main square).

02.00 p.m. "Mascletà" (noisy firework display) by  Vicent Caballer Pyrotechnic, in the Glorieta Dolors Piera (main square.

06.30 p.m. Fun parade with prizes for the best Nancy dress costumes. The meeting point of the participants will be in the  Social centre "Bèrnia" square.

11.00 p.m. Rock's night by the local groups: Skapats & Alevosia, and continued by the electrifying Habeas Corpus.
