JANUARY-MARCH

  • Fair. Fira i Porrat de Sant Antoni (2nd. Fortnight of January)
  • Philatelic market. 1st. Sunday of the month,  at 10.00 a.m. in Francisco Sendra street.

  • Cinema. Every Thursday night, films in the La Marina Satellite University. Free entrance.
  • Exhibition of plastic arts (once a month)
  • Theatre for children. One Sunday a month (from October to May)
  • Theatre for adults. One Friday a month (from October to March)
  • Pastis de Moniato. Activities for children during Christmas holidays. (December and January).
  • Big Christmas party. Activities for Children and Royal Ambassador's arrival to collect letters to The Three Wise Men. (January 3rd)
  • The Three Wise Men arrival. Going arround Benissa´s streets. (January 5th).
  • Valencia ball game. (January-December). Professional Valencia ball games in the Trinquet (Pelota court) Benissa, on Sunday afternoon.
  • Carnival. Parade with fancy dresses, burning of the Ninot, dancing with orchestra and prizes to the best fancy dress. (February).
  • Gastronomic Festival. For 10 days you can taste our typical cuisine. (March)

 

APRIL-JUNE

  • Patron Saint Festivities in honour to the Blessed Xiqueta. (4th Sunday of April)
  • Philatelic market. 1st. Sunday of the month,  at 10.00 a.m. in Francisco Sendra street.
  • Cinema. Every Thursday night, films in the La Marina Satellite University. Free entrance.
  • Exhibition of plastic arts (once a month)
  • Theatre for children. One Sunday a month (from October to May)
  • Mona de Pascua. Activities for children during Easter holidays. (April).
  • Prizes "25 d'Abril" Vila de Benissa. There are three modalities: brief narrative, poems and essay (April).
  • Painting contest S.Soria Vila de Benissa. Exhibition and prizegiving (April).
  • Photographic contest "Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos" (Moors and Christians festivities) (June-September).
  • Commercial and Enterprises prizes "Benissa és qualitat"(Benissa is Quality) (June)
  • Corpus del Convento festivity (Middle of June)
  • Cursa Vila de Benissa. (June, 2nd Fortnight ) sporting event that takes place through the streets of the town.
  • Valencia ball game. (January-December). Professional Valencia ball games in the Trinquet (Pelota court) Benissa, on Sunday afternoon.
  • Plà dels Molins festivity (End of June)
  • Moors and Christians Festivities in honour to Saint Peter. (End of june)

 

JULY-SEPTEMBER

  • Photographic contest "Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos" (Moors and Christians festivities) (June-September).
  • Forum Europa. Summer courses for university students and professionals (July).
  • Summer Philatelic market. (15th august)
  • Cinema on the street. Open-air cinema (July, August and 1st. Week of September).
  • La mar de cine. Seaside cinema. (July, August and the 1st. Week of September).
  • Philatelic workshop. Workshops for youngsters beginning stamps collections (for youngsters to begin collecting stamps / for young stamp collectors). (July/August).Music on the street. Life music performances. (July and August).
  • Environment Photo Contest. (July) contest which is open to all amateur and professional photographers.
  • Music of hermitages. Music performances in the hermitages of the term. (July, August and 1st half of September).
  • Summer School. Activities for children from 3 to 12 years old (1st. Fortnight of August).
  • Tapas route. Tapas tasting during Friday and Saturday nights of July and August with live music, theater and dance traditions.
  • Valencia ball game. (January-December). Professional Valencia ball games in the Trinquet (Pelota court) Benissa, on Sunday afternoon.
  • Photographic Rallye. Photographs of the different places of interest of Benissa are taken. (June or september).
  • Alternative Fair. Exhibition and sale of ecological, natural and craft products at the Paseo Dolores Piera (3rd. Weekend of September)
  • Summon for the participating rules for the Fiesta poster. (September)
