The colour and diversity of the underwater species make Benissa different and an ideal complement for a day with the family either relaxing or taking part in some of the many water sports that can be practiced in the calm and crystal clear water of the welcoming coves.

The lush underwater meadows of Posidonia oceánica sea-grass not only oxygenize the waters but, at the same time, give shelter to numerous species that have turned them into their natural sanctuaries. The best way to get to know this unique universe of freedom and peace is by scuba diving or snorkeling.

Snorkelling is one of the easiest, cheapest and most fun sea sports. To join in this activity all you need are a pair of goggles, a snorkel tube and flippers. With this simple and low cost equipment you can watch, from the surface, the sea bed of the six underwater routes that we prepared for you.
