Bèrnia mountain

One of the most sought-after trails among cyclists is this winding path that is the perfect training regime while you take in the spectacular sights. Furthermore, from mid-January through February, the almond trees blossom, further enhancing the beauty of these fields.

This is undoubtedly Benissa’s star trail.

In fact, anyone who fails to visit it at one point or another can be said not to know the Vall de Pop or the Marina mountains. Its closeness to the sea, the paths that lead to Marnes, the rugged silouhette of the Bèrnia mountains, the riuraus, the Maserof valley and the arrival to Parcent along the Barranc Negre ravine are sure to make an impression.

The first part of the trail rewards you with beautiful views of the coastline from Montgó to Calpe rock, dotted with coves and cliffs. Once you move further inland you will be met with vineyards and dry stone terraces, one of the most authentic and well-preserved landscapes in the Valencia region.
