Lovely gate to the Mediterranean
El Baladrar Cove boasts a breathtaking landscape. It opens up like a balcony onto the Mediterranean sea, surrounded by cliffs, with pine trees perched over the blue waves. It begins at the Sesters ravine and features a pebble beach. To access it you must go down some stairs and, once you reach the sea level, a rocky inlet divides the cove in two sections: El Baladrar and La Goleta. A 30-metre cliff, fluted by sea erosion and from which a rock known as La Polida has fallen, towers over one of its ends. The cove is protected from the easterly wind, and its shallow, clear waters and abundant marine flora and fauna make it perfect for diving.
