Benissa has 4 kilometres of coastline, 3 of which are connected by an ecological path along which you can explore the different beaches of Benissa:
It is a beach with fine natural sand dominated by majestic meadows of Posidonia seagrass. This beach is equipped with the all the services that you could want as a user. From 15 June to 15 September it offers a lifeguard service from 10am to 8pm. It also has adaptive bathing from 15 June to 14 September. The beach has been awarded different environmental distinctions such as the Blue Flag. A few metres from the beach is the “Casa dels Cents Vent” which houses the Benissa Beach Tourist Info point.
You can enjoy two beach bars on this sandy beach. The first, Mandala Beach Club offers the chance to eat or have something to drink next to this beach, in both winter and summer. This beach bar specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, using local and fresh products. You can also try one of their magnificent cocktails or smoothies.
This small wild cove, with sand, pebbles and rocks is suitable for children. From here, you can go on a small excursion on foot to the well-known “Mar Morta i Roques Negres” (Dead Sea and Black Rocks). It owes its name to the fact that there is a small spit of land in the sea that is low-lying and protected by rocks, which shelter it from the waves.
This is the most natural, peaceful and wild cove of them all. It is still possible to see pine trees along the shore. It is a pebble cove that is very suitable for doing underwater sports. The inconspicuous entry point guarantees a low number of users. The cove really stands out for its welcoming and clear seabed.
The main characteristic of this cove is the small jetty and a little square for enjoying a peaceful walk. It has a small and protected sandy beach for children and a marvellous underwater environment.
During summer, it has a beach bar service,L'Espigó, where you can enjoy marvellous evenings with live music.
Baladrar cove is a beautiful door to the Mediterranean, with amazing light and pine trees overlooking the blue ocean, enticing you to enjoy a pleasant excursion out on the water. The cove is protected by easterly winds, and its shallowness, good water clarity and an abundance of life make it ideal for a pleasant marine trip.
