Pumpkin biscuits


For 4 people:

  • ½ kg. pumpkin
  • 50 grs. baking powder
  • 200 grs. cake flour
  • sugar
  • sunflower oil



Peel the pumpkin and boil it in shallow water.

Mash it and gradually add the flour and yeast, which you should have previously dissolved in a bit of warm water. Combine the mixture and let it sit for approximately half an hour.

Pour sunflower seed oil into a pan and heat it up. Once the oil is hot, form the dough into small portions and fry them. Scoop out the fritters with a strainer as soon as they are done and dip them in sugar.
