Photo tourism: an image is worth more …

Are you one of those who travels always attached to his camera? Are you a photography lover and looking for a special place to take pictures? Well you can't miss Benissa, one of the most photogenic destinations in the area.

One of the most photogenic destinations

We recommend that you come to Benissa, a place where you will cling to your camera.

The best places to take pictures

Photographic tourism is in fashion, so there are many destinations that offer special places where you can capture that desired snapshot. In Benissa we offer you the best Selfie Points and the best places to take pictures in Benissa.

Cove Pinets

It is a small wild cove, with pebbles and rock, from which you can make a small walking tour to the place known as "Mar Morta and Roques Negres" (Dead Sea and Black Rocks). From here you can take beautiful photos with a different perspective, since the rock Peñón de Ifach is reflected in its waters, making the photo a work of art. In addition, on new moon nights, you can immortalize the Milky Way with a unique landscape.

Hermitage of Santa Ana

This hermitage can be reached after a walk of about 15 or 20 minutes from the town centre. The hermitage, dating from 1613, stands out for its beauty. It has a beautiful sandstone facade with a semicircular arch door and a single nave. In front we have a small square, where the local festivities are held every 26th of June. From this point, in addition to enjoying the peacefulness, we can observe the Santa Ana ravine that joins the Quisi; we will also see crops such as almond, vine and olive trees. A place with a lot of charm worthy of being photographed!

Viewpoint Los Garcías

On the way to the coast, you will find the Viewpoint Los Garcías, a place where you have to stop to see the best views of our green coastline. From this point you will see from the Watchtower Cap d'Or de Moraira, our beautiful coast of Benissa and on the right the imposing rock Peñón de Ifach. On clear days you can see Ibiza!

Washing place of Orxelles

It is the largest washing place in the town and its fountain still offers drinking water. At the top it has a cistern. Like the other washing places in Benissa (4 in all), this one has also been restored. Without a doubt, a very photogenic spot!

Fortress of Bèrnia

In the mountain range of Bèrnia there are many places to discover and take pictures, and one of them is its fortress. A Renaissance fortress of the SXVI that was built by Felipe II to defend the coast from the Ottoman attacks (pirates).

In addition you cannot miss the Forat, from where you can immortalize the two Marinas: The Marina Alta to the north of Bèrnia and the Marina Baja in the southern part of the mountains.

Cave La Fustera

Near La Fustera beach is the Cave of La Fustera, 10m high, from where we can see a magnificent perspective of both the coast of Benissa and the rock Peñón de Ifach.

Have we convinced you? ... We hope so!
