Do you want to know what to see near Benidorm?

Enjoy an extraordinary day in a different environment. Benissa, 32 km from Benidorm, offers four kilometres of steep coastline, with cliffs and small coves crowned with pine trees.

Enjoy an incomparable landscape where you will find the Peñón de Ifach (Ifach rock) of Calpe on the right and the Cap d'Or watchtower on the left, with unique panoramic views.

The Benissa coastline is connected by an ecological walk that practically follows the whole coastline, except for the Baladrar cove. We recommend you start your tour at the Benissa Beach Tourist Info, also called Aula de la mar, where you will find several expositions all year round. One of them is the extraordinary permanent exhibition of conch shells from all around the world.

It would be a shame to not bring your camera!

SOUTHERN STRETCH: 0,6 Kms

If we start from the southern section, it will take us to the Club Náutico Les Bassetes (Yacht Club) where, besides enjoying the views, you will be able to practise water sports such as scuba diving (all year round) or snorkelling, sailing, stand up paddle or catamaran (during the summer time).

If you continue along the path, you will reach the Calpe coves.

NORTHERN STRETCH: 2 km

Continuing the walk along the northern stretch, you will arrive at Playa de la Fustera, a paradisiacal beach, with white sand and crystalline waters in which Posidonia dominates.

The next cove that you will find is Cala Pinets, a charming little cove surrounded by pines, boulders, sand and rock. In summer, you can make a small excursion along the rocks and you will reach the Mar Morta (Dead Sea), which is of scenic and geological interest.

If you continue upwards from Cala Pinets along the path to the cove, you will reach the Fanadix green area, an ideal stop for a rest and to have a picnic before continuing along the signposted path to Cala Llobella, a wild, quiet, rocky cove, ideal for snorkelling.

Continuing along the path you will arrive at Cala Advocat, a secluded sandy beach with a peculiar jetty to stroll on. You can finish the path by walking up the stairs to reach a green area where you can enjoy the view.

You can continue and finish the walk up the stairs, where you will come to a green area where you can enjoy the views.

Don't miss Cala Baladrar. Even though the walk does not go past it, you can easily access it by car and enjoy it. It is the largest boulder cove.

Enjoy our coastline!
