La Fustera Beach

Dominated by the majestic meadows of sea-grass that reign over the seabed

This small, fine sand beach is surrounded by rocky outcroppings that protect and beautify it, with vegetation that practically reaches the sea itself, and with crystal-clear waters that feature Neptune Grass prairies that ensure the proliferation of a varied marine fauna. The beach has services such as a refreshments stand, bathrooms, children’s games, a picnic area, a lifeguard, nautical activities and accessibility for people with reduced mobility.

Near this beach you will discover the La Fustera Cave, 10 metres above sea level, from which one can enjoy a magnificent view of the Benissa coastline and the Peñón de Ifach. This area features a micro flora reserve which, like the one in Bassetes, includes species such as thyme and cat’s head rockrose, a small, spherical shrub with floral buttons reminiscent of a cat’s head.

This beach boasts various environmental awards and eco-labels such as the Blue Flag and an "Ecoplayas" prize and employs an integral management system in compliance with the ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.

Just few metres away is the "Casa dels Cents Vents" (House of the hundred winds) centre that houses the Benissa Playa Tourist Information office, the resident advise office, a police post that is in operation from June 15th to September 15th and the "Aula de la Mar", room that is venue of environmental awareness activities related to the sea.

Amphibious Chair service for disabled. From June 15th until September 15th: from Monday to Friday: from 10 a.m. -02.00 p.m. and a  Life Guard Post from 10 a.m.-08 p.m..
