7:30 p.m. Quinto (half-pint of beer) and tapa (snack)

TUESDAY 23 July

7:00 p.m. Pilota game

10:30 p.m. Casual dinner in the hermitage square, enlivened with music by DJ RIBESS, followed by a surprise show.

WEDNESDAY 24 July

10:00 a.m. Traditional plantá del pí (pine planting)

7:30 p.m. Brisca Championship

8:00 p.m. Parade with a dolçaina and tabalet followed by a floral offering to Saint James for all residents wishing to participate.

11:30 p.m. Grand nighttime festivities, enlivened by the GRUPO ÉLITE orchestra

THURSDAY 25 July Saint James' Day

8:00 a.m. - Despertá (wake-up call) by the festival commission to the sound of dolçaines and musket fire.

11:00 a.m. - Solemn mass in honour of St. James with the presence of the Puríssima Xiqueta, followed by the traditional procession of the Patron Saint accompanied by the patron saint of Benissa to the hermitage square. Gojos (devotional folk chants) will be sung at the end of the procession.

1:30 p.m. - Traditional carreres de galls (rooster races).

6:30 p.m. Humorous parade. All residents are invited to participate.

8:30 p.m. Performance by the Teulada dance group

11:30 p.m. Fireworks display by the VULCANO pyrotechnics company.

11:45 p.m. Grand ball enlivened by the MADRE SELVA orchestra.

FRIDAY 26 July

8:00 a.m. - Despertá (wake-up call) by the festival commission to the sound of the brass band and musket fire.

12:30 p.m. - Surprise performance to enliven the paella contest,

1:00 p.m. Paella contest.

11:30 p.m. Musical soiree with the LA TRAMPA music band.

SATURDAY 27, SUNDAY 28, and MONDAY 29

7:00 p.m. Popular afternoons with mock bullfighting with young heifers and outdoor picnics.
